Good times and the bad relived through the auxilliary. I was 15. The definition of deceit was becoming clear to me I was a child. It almost doused the flame but music let the fire run wild. And I made a tape to share this light with you. Through thick and thin it has always been the bedrock of my life. It picks me up and then stands by my side. That’s me on there so hold it dear. Phono to tape. Songs to die to is what I made. We got The Spies, Bodies, Shifters, and Lowlifes. We’re chopping through the bullshit and cutting through the lies. There’re a million things that I want to say to you. This tape will do it in a way I cannot do. Because bottom lines would shake foundations just like death begs question from faithful ones. I was alone. It got into my heart and now I’ve made this place my home. And I made a tape to share this roof with you. Through thick and thin it has always been the bedrock of my life.
