lyrics

It’s not enough to satisfy your needs. It’s not enough the world is filled with greed. There’s people that barley get by that’s all that they know. I’m falling backwards from the things I see. Smiling faces cover up sorrow and pain. And their just glad their soul is alive. They live for the day that’s how they get by. This will never stop. Breaking your back for that minimum wage. You waste their time, you waste your life away. It’s forty hours a week, eight hours a day, one foot in the grave. I know some people who are truly happy. These interactions are so few and far between. So I listen and learn what I can but make no mistake. I count them on one hand this will never stop.
