Track Name: Leave A Message
The truth hits everyone like a million atom bombs. And I can't understand how everybody can be so calm. Time is running out and they all just sit around. So leave your message at the beep because I'm leaving town. Tell my girl I'm sorry but daddy's gotta roam. The only time I feel at ease is a thousand miles from home. Tell the boys when I get back, whiskey shots on me. But for now I got no time to spare and I got no time to bleed. So raise your glass to a life off the grid. Raise full sails, pull anchor dead ahead. Starboard towards a future that is always unknown. And when this vessel sinks I'll finally be home. Another night, another town, another show to play. Another friend, another pint, another girl's heart breaks. Drunk tired and starving, lost with no money. But a stage and a crowd and a microphone is all we really need to be free. So buy us another shot and throw us in the van. If you give us a destination you're giving us something we understand. So raise your glass to a life off the grid. Raise full sails, pull anchor dead ahead. Starboard towards the future that is always unknown. And when this vessel sinks I'll finally be home. Now we've been drinking for way to long. Pineapples and Gin pouring strong. And we've no money for gasoline on me, live together, die free. So raise your glass to a life off the grid. Raise full sails, pull anchor dead ahead. Starboard towards a future that is always unknown. And when this vessel sinks I'll finally be home.

And these bottles they don’t like to drink themselves. So I guess it’s up to me to lend a free hand to help. And misery well she loves company. So I guess it’s up to me to be by her side in this hell. But that’s painfully obvious obviously. And with this black eye I got from last nights bar fight. I guess I’ve found it safer to keep my ass inside. So I got myself a bottle and I locked up my door. But when that bottle was gone I was right out there back for war. But that’s painfully obvious well obviously. Its pulling me down. Lost in a place in my head I never want it found. With each passing day nothing seems to change. I guess its all outside or maybe its all inside my brain. And I’m looking around at all these so called friends. They want their life’s to start, well I want my life to end. But that’s painfully obvious obviously. The compass is broken lost in unknown seas. Climbed up to the crows nest looked down on a mutiny. There’s holes in the walls waters filling up the haul. The ship begins to sink and everybody starts to scream. Its pulling me down. Lost in a place in my head I never want it found. And these bottles they don’t like to drink themselves. So I guess its up to me to lend a free hand to help. And misery well she loves company. So I guess it’s up to me to be by her side in this hell. But that’s painfully obvious obviously.
Track Name: Fallon And Victory
This heart is like a photograph hanging on your wall. You always think it waits for you until it falls. For someone new, adaptation. I’ve been holdin‘ on,
but holdin’ on has turned to waiting. Now the streets are all I have, problems and the pain. Now you got yourself someone new but I‘m left to sustain. But I’m learning your ways and how to be strong. Now you’ll be the one to look back and I’ll be gone. I know it ain’t nothing, it aint nothing new to me. And I know one day you’ll look back and you’ll see. I’m just a sucker, sucker for change. I hope it was worth it all that you’ve done. Hope you played your games hope you had your fun. I’ve learned ways in how to be strong. Now you’ll be the one to turn around and I’ll be gone. Cause I know it aint nothing it aint nothing new to me. And I know one day you’ll look back and you’ll see.
Track Name: Here's Your Song
It goes like the ghost. I was once before you came around again. It’s so uninviting unpredictable well I know when I know what I know. I drink so slow. It’s all a circus that unfolds made of smoke and empty souls. I’m told all hearts will run as cold as dirt upon coffins filled with bones. Its not something that goes away. They’re all feelings that never fade. Something burning deep inside of me. On and on. Well here is your song. Stay calm. Like a shaky hand over a bomb. Pray to god you do know wrong. Be strong in the presence of destruction. And it’s the same sad song. And try to figure out all the reasons why nothing ever works out right. And you cry tears of absolution for everything that lives inside. Their all feelings that never fade. Something burning deep inside of me
On and on. Well here is your song. It goes like the ghost I was once before you came around again.
Track Name: Phono To Tape
Line up the counter and get this tape on cue. Like your favorite fix I’ll inject this needle into you. All these memories trapped in high fidelity. Good times and the bad relived through the auxilliary. I was 15. The definition of deceit was becoming clear to me I was a child. It almost doused the flame but music let the fire run wild. And I made a tape to share this light with you. Through thick and thin it has always been the bedrock of my life. It picks me up and then stands by my side. That’s me on there so hold it dear. Phono to tape. Songs to die to is what I made. We got The Spies, Bodies, Shifters, and Lowlifes. We’re chopping through the bullshit and cutting through the lies. There’re a million things that I want to say to you. This tape will do it in a way I cannot do. Because bottom lines would shake foundations just like death begs question from faithful ones. I was alone. It got into my heart and now I’ve made this place my home. And I made a tape to share this roof with you. Through thick and thin it has always been the bedrock of my life. It picks me up and then stands by my side. That’s me on there so hold it dear. Phono to tape. Songs to die to is what I made.
Track Name: Stay Back
Well It’s a perfect place to start. I guess. It’s as good as any good is ever gonna get. This mind of mine has gone and broken down. But by this time I’m sure you’ve figured all this out by now. The light is on out front but no ones home. This place will learn to change you once you live alone. The demons that are stuck inside my head. Remind me you can never cure what’s already dead. So for your sake please just keep the hell away from me. In this brain I got a contagious disease. Eventually I’m going to need you to see. The only cure for me is for you to leave. Perhaps I want this shit inside of me. I don’t know how to act without all this misery. And the problems and the pain and the regret and the heart break. In some sick fucking way. I find it all so comforting. So for your sake please just keep the hell away from me. In this brain I got a contagious disease. Eventually I’m going to need you to see. The only cure for me is for you to leave. Just another point of reference a last chance to never see my problems again. Better if you just go it alone. I never meant to write these words. They were never meant to be heard. But now that your gone. So for your sake please just keep the hell away from me. In this brain I got a contagious disease. Eventually im going to need you to see. The only cure for me is for you to leave.
Track Name: One Foot In The Grave
It’s not enough to satisfy your needs. It’s not enough the world is filled with greed. There’s people that barley get by that’s all that they know. I’m falling backwards from the things I see. Smiling faces cover up sorrow and pain. And their just glad their soul is alive. They live for the day that’s how they get by. This will never stop. Breaking your back for that minimum wage. You waste their time, you waste your life away. It’s forty hours a week, eight hours a day, one foot in the grave. I know some people who are truly happy. These interactions are so few and far between. So I listen and learn what I can but make no mistake. I count them on one hand this will never stop.
Track Name: Letters Home
As the sun goes down over the town and into the sea. I can hear the sounds of cars on the streets stories below you and me. As I sit here and play these things with strings plastic hearts in hand. Hard wood floors and white couch is our home for now. Tomorrow and the next day with all these letters home. Sitting in my room smell of Cancun wafts in and I cant get to sleep. Mariachi blown in try to deal with this sin try to drink myself to sleep. Ain’t seeing any chance of change. I’m ready to ride out the mistakes. Maybe tomorrow or maybe the next day. So one more round before I go. Bound for home to say hello to everything I’ve left behind. The closer I get the problems persist and the story book ending does not exist. The thought alone has me shaking. So I pull off the road turn around and off I go. Back away again rather grab a pen and send this letter home. All these letters home.
